Hillbilly Bob’s is a down home rustic country fruit winery and health-centered wood fired bbq restaurant with a concert venue in the mountains of western Maine by Sunday River, the biggest ski area in the eastern US. Think of HBB as a bodega you would see in a small town in rural Italy, serving simple fresh delicious food cooked on a woodfired grill. HBB features homemade pasta and pizza with dough made from scratch from Italian flours. The doughs and toppings all contain organic vegetables grown on premises. Burgers and sloppy joes with homemade grilled veggie buns and grilled meats. Hand cut fries from the potato farm across the street are fried in beef tallow and coconut oil. Toxic petroleum-based vegetable oils are never used.

In a time when everyone is trying to outdo the next and build bigger and more antiseptic, HBB is taking a step back and flipping the script to the polar opposite. A no-frills down home unique place unlike you have ever seen. Where healthy delicious food and country fruit wine with down home country feel, topped with unmatchable personal customer service. This is the place you’d see decades ago before all the over-regulation and homogenization of society. It’s the place Americans now leave the bs of the US to go to simpler more fun countries

Hillbilly Bobs is one of the only healthy options around! Never will we serve food with unnatural preservatives and additives or fry food with any synthetic petroleum-based oil like every other place around. Did you know vegetable oil has a half life of 18 months? So that French fry from any other restaurant around stays in your body for a year and a half. Let that sink in! Only beef tallow, bacon grease, butter, olive oil or coconut oil will ever fry our fries!🍟

As we get closer to summer, we are getting ready to kick off the 2026 season! We are taking reservations for special days and parties. If you have at least 8 people in your party, we will consider making your event private with a special menu, which is quite a fun time! Message us and let’s start planning to make a memorable special moment for that special person or group.

Growing up we all loved Mac n cheese and oodles of noodles. What if you could have those noodles not made from chemicals and bleached flour? Well, now you can, with a bunch of organic veggies as well. This fall and winter at HBB in Rumford Point.

Congrats to the Sox! Walkoff playoff clincher! Finally after 3 years. We are back in the playoffs! All games will be available live and on replay at HBB. Also, yes the other playoff games, including, ehem, the Yankees will be on as well so we can root against them! Pats games and NFL as well.
