The International Franchise Association Advocacy Summit in Washington, D.C., brought together some of the brightest minds in franchising. PIRTEK USA President & CEO Kim Gubera, Chief Franchise Operations Officer Kieran Scott, and franchise owners Wes Snyder and David Entwistle represented the brand at the summit, including collaboration with U.S. Representative Mike Haridopolos of Florida's 8th Congressional District and U.S. Representative Steve Scalise of Louisiana's 1st Congressional District.

We keep hydraulic hoses under pressure, but last week the heat was on our team. The PIRTEK USA corporate office hosted its Hot Wing Challenge, where participants faced 7 levels of heat, answered trivia while feeling the burn, and competed for the ultimate bragging rights.

After making it through the heat, our Director of Information Technology, Robert Spiteri, came out on top and was crowned our Hot Wing Challenge champion!

Twenty-five years later, we remember. This Patriot Day, the PIRTEK USA team gathered to reflect, remember those we lost, and honor the first responders who answered the call on September 11, 2001.

In that same spirit of service, we also took time to recognize the first responders who serve our local community every day. Our team delivered donuts to the Brevard County Sheriff's Office, Florida (Official), and lunch to the Rockledge Fire Department as a thank you for their continued service and dedication.

Today and every day, we are grateful for those who serve and protect our communities.

It was one Thursday afternoon and we got a call from a customer that there was a 175 foot manlift stuck in the air in downtown New Orleans at the WWII museum. We immediately dispatched two techs to the job. Upon arrival the first tech noticed two men stuck up in the air in the basket of the manlift. Recognizing the critical nature of this call our tech found another manlift jumped up in it with our other tech. They got the baskets to meet end to end to rescue the men stuck in the air. They got them down safely and then replaced the blown main hose. Days like this don’t happen often but when the they do PIRTEK Elmwood stands by to get the job done! Way to go Luis and Jacob!
