Lake Effect Energy Corporation

Lake Effect Energy Corporation Lake Effect Energy Corporation is a full service turn-key company specializing in home, farm and small business wind energy systems.

Lake Effect Energy Corporation (LEEC) was established in the spring of 2009. We strive to meet and exceed the needs of our customers whether they are municipalities, small businesses, farms or homeowners. LEEC has the in-house technical expertise to cover the full range of small and community size wind power projects from 1kW – 1MW i.e. securing interconnection agreements, permitting, construction

engineering, equipment installation, construction supervision, turbine commissioning and service. As Certified Renewable Energy Site Assessors we can help you determine if your home or business site is appropriate for the installation of a wind energy system. We coordinate to identify qualifications and write technical portions of grants and incentive applications. Working directly with the state USDA office and our grant writer ensures a high scoring project. LEEC provides engineering for wind power systems of various sizes ranging from 1kW up to 1MW. Offering comprehensive services starting from site identification, feasibility studies, up to detail structural design and implementation. With our 6000 SF facility in Harbor Springs Michigan we design and manufacture foundation forms, embedment rings, re-bar cages, tower templates and energy storage compartments, etc for each project. In-house equipment consists of a Atlas 5 Axis CNC, full woodworking shop, along with other essential equipment – welders, brakes, drill presses, etc. Many permit decisions will be based on what can be deemed biased interpretation. We conduct project public relations up front. Providing all required documentation and answering all questions. In executing this process we try not to let a commission deny a project. We place the burden of proof on “them.” From our due diligence we alleviate uncertainties and fiction to achieve approval. By keeping pace with technological advancements, we are able to handle a wide variety turbine projects up to 1MW. LEEC performs a range of construction with an in- house team controlling processes, quality and efficiency, which includes fabrication of welding, structural cages, form assembly, concrete forming, large and small structural steel tower assemblies and er****on. With our in-house assessment, engineering, sales and installation, we are confident that we can help you achieve your wind energy goals. We have been trained and certified in this industry and will continue our education to ensure our technical knowledge can be passed through all of our installations and service.
