We are proud to celebrate Dos Locals Tacos as a featured success story with the Michigan CDFI Coalition. Their journey reflects the power of access to capital, strong partnerships, and entrepreneurial determination. Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition—your success continues to inspire the communities you serve.

With technical and financial support from Northern Shores, Dos Locals, a woman-owned and tribally owned food truck created by Maritza Fuerte Lopez and Joel Lopez, is bringing community connection and flavor to Petoskey.

Dos Locals turned “two locals and a dream” into a thriving business. Northern Shores’ guidance helped Dos Locals' owners overcome lending barriers and launch their vision with confidence.
