This strategic plan considers several months worth of public input and research into a clear, actionable strategy for the Northeast Indiana Local Food Network as an organization. I look forward to see how they continue to build their capacity and advance the regional food system. Their work can serve as a model for others looking to organize around a similar vision!
Following our in-depth Local Food System Needs Assessment, we're excited to share our 2025-2027 Northeast Indiana Local Food Network Strategic Plan! This is our blueprint for building a more sustainable, equitable, and economically resilient food system across our 11 counties.
This plan outlines six key priorities that will guide our work, from boosting local food production and distribution to ensuring everyone has access to healthy, affordable options. These priorities include:
âś…Building organizational capacity
âś…Ensuring financial stability
âś…Developing the local food system
âś…Promoting healthy and obtainable local food
âś…Advancing Food Hub development
âś…Growing Farm to School initiatives
This plan isn't just for us – it's a community-driven vision. Explore our strategic priorities and discover how you can get involved in making this vision a reality!
