Been burning the midnight oil lately . Getting some wide pine slabs sawn up and ready to dry . I have several large logs in stock ready to be sawn . Diameters ranging from 24”-32” live edge one side or both . Can be sawn to any thickness. Rough cut pine planks , and rough cut spruce and fir dimensional lumber will be available by late march and early april . shoot me a message and ASK ME ABOUT MY WOOD.

A little trim of a large maple in stowe . Id rather be in the woods harvesting timber this time of year , but it is good rainy day work. Had to make clearance for a well drilling truck . Goes to show even fat kids can get it done if they grit their teeth just right . thanks to caleb millington for the help on the ground and keeping me safe in the tree. Well , it has certainly been a funny start to so-called winter , but Jenny and i have spent a few days together . did a few takedowns at my mothers house and a few at her neighbors . Then thinned a little softwood on the back fourty. Getting ready to switch gears and move to a job in the softwoods the rest of the winter . cheers to hoping for frozen ground this winter ! As always green firewood available and soon fenceposts as well . ASK ME ABOUT MY WOOD .

Any one else ever had a pair of boots that were so damn comfortable you couldnt stand to retire them ? Ive been running timberland pros for about four years now and these things are tough. Im sure they arent american made because nothing is , but i believe they are the best “bang for your buck”. These boots have been through hell and just wont give up. A little maintenance goes a long way . Theyve done everything from climb trees to walk in knee deep water and mud . Its funny how you can fall in love with a decent pair of gloves or boots or pants that just break in right .

Today was one for the record books ! Its always a shame to see an old giant like this yellow birch go , but it was beyond the point of no return and it was dropping dead branches where dogs and children play . Brought it down in pieces as to protect surrounding trees and lighting on the property .

Tomorow will be our last day at the choose and cut field this holiday season ! We have a decent variety of sizes left including some that are quite large ! Stop by 689 town line rd tomorrow from 9- dark and have a look! There is no cell service there so if we dont reply we will be there untill dark regardless. If you would like a tree and cant make it tomorrow, we can go by appointment next weekend or we can deliver if you dont have time to choose one ! We also have two precut trees for sale at the c village store. Hope to see you there !

Chases custom cut will be open for choose and cut christmas trees starting tomorrow at 9 am ! We are at 689 town line rd in craftsbury ! Stop by and check out the balsams and fraziers and warm your self by the fire ! We plan to be open every saturday and sunday untill christmas. hope to see you there! We do not have cell service at this location so if we do not reply we are still open until roughly dark !
