Looks like football season got a proper kickoff at The Cottage Gate! 🏈🌭

Their Football Spirit Tailgate brought out plenty of team colors, good food, and familiar faces, with DogGoneDog serving up the game-day eats.

Roxy the Saint Bernard found the perfect spot to plop down and hang out with the Barkley's Pet Market staff while her mom shopped for treats and toys. Judging by those legs, she has absolutely no plans to move until further notice. 😂

One more opportunity to explore an important part of our local history.

The Westlake branch of the Franklin County Public Library is hosting a program on August 19 about Black men born in Franklin County who served in the United States Colored Troops during the Civil War.

The program runs from 2–3:30 p.m. Registration is recommended, but walk-ins are welcome. Details and registration are in the original post.

If you missed our history talks earlier this summer, you have one more chance to join us in learning about the lives of the Black men born in Franklin County who fought in the United States Colored Troops.

One of the signature events held at Westlake Towne Center is making headlines! 💎🪣

The Smith Mountain Eagle has featured Jo & Co Jewelers' 13th Annual Diamond Dig, a family-friendly tradition that raises funds for Fighting Kids Cancer through the LifeRing Foundation.

Since the event began, it has raised more than $164,000 for charity, proving that a little sparkly fun can make a big impact.

Be sure to reserve your Diamond Dig bucket before they're gone. We can't wait to see everyone on August 15!

Jo & Co. Jewelers will hold its 13th annual Diamond Dig in the jewelry store's parking lot at Westlake Towne Center on Aug. 15 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
