Learning to make some cute little notions holders. Scissors holders and thread snip (orts) keepers. The ort holders snap to make a little basket and when unsnapped lay flat for easy traveling.

Two more bags today. Now I need to stop for a bit and concentrate on some much needed organization in the studio.

Not much actual quilting has happened lately, but a lot of sewing. Bags, patriotic stitchery, and some cute little thread catchers.

Planning to do some major sorting and rearranging this month.

Hi, quilting friends. Since I retired from longarm quilting, I tend to forget to post on this page. But that doesn't mean I've stopped quilting.

Here are some pics of what's been happening in my studio.

Pulled these two off the longarm and trimmed while checking on Inky this morning. The little brat recognizes the medicine syringe now and can lead me a merry chase. So I sat at the sewing machine and pieced another fish block. His curiosity got the best of him and he showed up to investigate. I got him on my lap, snatched up the syringe, and squirted his meds down his throat. He took off, much aggrieved, but by the time I had finished sewing the block he was back for cuddles.

He is not thrilled with the new wet food.

I ordered a second fountain, this one is stainless steel. And some packets of bisque to doctor up his food. And a new laser light toy. Spoiled little kitty??? Not much. LOL
