Just finished THE GOOD LORD BIRD by - an amazing novelization of abolitionist John Brown and the lead-up to the Civil War, from a freed slave’s perspective. Binge watched the adaptation too, which was great - very faithful to the source. Highly recommend both.

7 years ago I kind of met Chris Rock. Ok we were in the same room. Took this at the premiere for his movie the um…. Ok we didn’t stay for the movie and I forget what it was called. CR did about 5 minutes of crowd play and made some Ferguson jokes, then he was out. Probably straight back to the airport. We ducked out 5 minutes later.
