The Kosicek family has been grape farming in Northeast Ohio since 1929. In 2012, third generation farmer Tony Kosicek, and his wife Mauri established Kosicek Vineyards. Currently, they farm premium wine grapes located within the premier growing areas along the Lake Erie shore. The company designed and built a state‐of-the‐art winery and today Kosicek Vineyards produces a range of red and white var

ietals sourced from the estate vineyards. Daughter Emma, and son Anthony, are the fourth generation of the Kosicek family and are also involved in the family business. Our wine list includes exquisite bottles locally grown and produced right here in our winery. Our food menu offers just the right amount of local cuisine to tempt your palette. We’ve been working on dropping green fruit and Brix has been supervising 🙈

So, what does “dropping green fruit” mean?

“Dropping green fruit” means removing some clusters that are especially unripe (green) from a vine in order to reduce the number of grape clusters the vine has to support. With fewer grapes, the remaining fruit can potentially have access to more of the vine’s resources and ripen more evenly.

Here comes the sun! We’re seeing a sporadic bloom here at KV. The front rows are out in full force, the back field has a little more scattered sunshine, and the middle field will be in bloom in the next couple of weeks 🌻

One of our favorite times of year on the farm is here. Come out, pick a few blooms, grab a glass, and see nature’s show for yourself.

🚨 A few quick notes:
-Sunflowers are open during regular business hours only
-No professional photography of any kind
-Free u-pick! Please check in inside before heading to the fields (and maybe grab a glass while you’re there 😉)
