Phishing messages often create a sense of urgency to get you to act before you think. If an email or message feels rushed or unexpected, take a moment to check it before clicking. A few simple habits can help protect you and your team:

- Check the sender’s full email address, not just the display name.
- Hover over links to see where they lead before clicking.
- Pause before responding to urgent or unusual requests, even if they appear official.
- Report suspicious messages. Flagging one could help protect the rest of your team.

One of the easiest ways to slow down a cybercriminal? Strong, unique passwords. Short, reused passwords are the first thing attackers try, and if one unlocks every account, a single leak puts all of them at risk.

The good news: you don't have to memorize dozens. A password manager creates long, complex passwords and stores them securely, so you only need to remember one.

🔐 One password is a single lock on your front door. MFA adds a deadbolt. This Cybersecurity Awareness Month, the theme says it all: don't make it easy on them.

Multi-factor authentication (also called 2-step verification) is one of the simplest ways to do that. It asks for a second proof that it's really you, like a code on your phone or a tap in an app, before anyone can get into your account. So even if someone steals your password, they still can't get in without that second step. Where to turn it on first:
