📖 The English language just got a little bigger.

Merriam-Webster has added a new batch of words to the dictionary—and if you’ve ever wondered who gets to decide when a word officially becomes “real,” this is a fun reminder that language is constantly evolving.

From new slang to words born of our changing culture and technology, the dictionary reflects how we actually communicate.

Working with words every day, I love seeing how language changes—and how the right words can make all the difference in storytelling.

As a former food marketer, I've used the term "superfood" for years. Who knew it wasn't a real word?

Color lovers, we have a new one to watch! 💚

Sherwin-Williams just announced its 2027 Color of the Year: Celery SW 6421—a warm, yellow-green that brings a fresh, uplifting feel to interiors. And despite being a bold choice, it can work surprisingly well as a “tinted neutral,” pairing beautifully with both warm and cool tones.

I’m especially intrigued by the idea of using Celery on cabinetry, paired with natural wood tones. Would you use this color in your home—or is it a little too green for you?

Our little gymnast crushed the Lucky Charm Invitational, bringing home medals for:

Bars - 9.2 - Second place
Beam - 9.45 - First place
Floor - 9.65 - First place
AA - Second place

The Greensboro Classic last month was a tough meet! Our girl did her best and crushed some personal goals!

We escaped the snow and went to Atlanta early a couple of weekends ago for the Atlanta Centennial Classic.❄️We had a great time and were so proud of our girl for her hard work. She placed:
✔️6th bars
✔️3rd beam
✔️6th Floor
✔️7th AA

The first meet of the season was last weekend! She placed third on bars and beam and sixth all around. We are so proud of her!
The team got 2nd place!

Can't wait for the next meet in two weekends!

Slop plopped on our screens this past year as AI kicked into full gear. But for "slop" to be named the word of the year... really? I can't recall using it once. Sounds like a lot of SLOP to me.

As the year draws to a close, I want to thank all my wonderful clients, partners, and friends. In honor of you, a donation has been made to Princeton's Meow, where we rescued our sweet Shiraz. They've already sent a note back.🐈

While we can't rescue every kitty that comes to the shelter, or we'd be a shelter ourselves, we can do a small part by making a difference. 🐾
