Yes. She is in a better place. By all accounts, the only grief was husbands! Other than that she looked to be having a great time. However, Illness is no picnick. She was in her most happiest when sharing her gifts of entertaining.

Stories are the best way to make my point. Today I followed a impulse to accommodate those in or out of ministry. I unexpectedly ran into a very likely candidate for the mission statement of CGM: To be the communication vehicle for those who need a voice to champion their gifts and talents by linking with like minded organizations......Well, while eating at a favorite restaurant she walks in. Not having seen her or been in communication and her cell was not picking up my outreach, I was awed at the timing. We talked, caught up with whats been happening since I wanted to bring her to an audience. Another passionate heart for the art of the written word.We shared books we are reading and encounters we have had. This is what communication sounds like. It is a pleasure to bring ideas to life, energize them, to make them exciting and vivid. You want to divert their attention towards you and then capture it, lock it in. This is what drives your hunt for the perfect phrase. This is what draws you toward dramatic words and powerful word combinations. This is why people like to listen to you. Your word pictures pique their interest, sharpen their world, and inspire them to act. And so you turn events into stories and practice telling them. You take a dry idea and enliven it with images and examples and metaphors.

The morning news is its own doom and confusion. My sister and my family are being blessed even in the storms and we all have storms we face the scripture says and GOD delivers us out of them all. When looking at the storms that rage across the land look at it as a position of your own dynamic power to overcome any adversity no matter what life throws. Its important that we see with a clarity. Truth is we are more resilient and empowered than we realize. Sometimes we need storms to remined us. We pray for those who are destablized by such calamity be it wind rain fire or whatever looks to be insurmountable odds.
