Hello T's Docking & More Family!
We hope you all had an amazing winter and holiday season! We can not believe the spring season is already upon us, which also means it is time to start thinking about the upcoming dock season! We have a few changes this year at T's Docking & More that we would like to announce.
These last few years have been pretty challenging as a new business trying to thrive in a pandemic world! But we have done it, and we couldn't have done it without our customers, our crew who shows up everyday to put in quality work, and even other dock dock companies who have helped us! We thank everyone in making out small family business a success.
We faced many challenges and have learned a few new things along the way. And as a business, in order to succeed, we must adjust a few things. This includes our pricing. We have made adjustments to our price list due to many factors including rising costs in running a business and of course giving our guys a well deserved raise! If you have any specific questions regarding your dock systems pricing, please reach out!
This next change only affects very few customers and any new customers that only have 1 dock section or just a swin float: We also are adding a minimum charge. If you only have 1 dock section, or 1 swim float, we will require a minimum charge of $100. Going to a job that is only 1 section ($80), then we split that $80 between 3 to 4 guys, it can eat into profits. Going forward we will require this minimum charge on all clients that have 1 section or 1 float or just a mooring. This does not include parts, this is for the installation and removal. If you need parts that does not go towards the $100 minimum charge.
Another big change is the way we are scheduling our docks. Previously, T's Docking would give our customers a specific date for install or removal. Now our customers will let us know what day they need to be in by and they will be placed on a list and installed by that date. This allows for us to be more flexible in doing more docks in a certain day or if the weather does not cooperate, we do not have to rearrange our schedule. We of course will still give appointments to those who need one or if you are a first time customers we usually ask you be present for the initial install.
