On May 7, 1961, Harrison, Arkansas experienced one of the worst natural disasters in its history. After torrential overnight rains dumped more than 11 inches of water across Boone County, Crooked Creek overflowed and rushed through downtown Harrison before sunrise. Homes and businesses were destroyed, streets turned into rivers, and much of the town was left underwater. Despite the devastation, the people of Harrison came together to rebuild stronger than before. 65 years later, the flood remains a powerful reminder of both the force of nature and the resilience of our community. Here is a picture of our location then and today.

This Friday 5/8/2026, we will be closing at Noon. Our owners and a few of our team members kids are graduating! 🎓

We are a small, close-knit crew, and being able to show up for our families means everything to us. Harrison Glass is proud to support our employees as they take time to celebrate these important moments with their families. Being able to show up for each other, both at work and at home, means a lot to us.

We appreciate your support and understanding while we take a little time to celebrate these big milestones together. We will resume normal business hours Monday 5/11/2026.
