If your weekly leadership meeting feels long, reactive, or unfocused, you do not have a time problem. You have an agenda and discipline problem.

Here is a simple meeting agenda that keeps your team engaged, focused, and productive:

🔸 Segue [5 minutes]: start on a positive note with quick personal and professional good news
🔸 Scorecard Review [5 minutes]: review weekly numbers and call out on track or off track
🔸 Rock Review [5 minutes]: check your 90-day priorities and mark on track or off track
🔸 Customer and employee headlines [5 minutes]: share the key updates and people issues
🔸 To-Do list [5 minutes]: mark last week’s To-Dos done or not done
🔸 IDS [60 minutes]: identify, discuss, and solve the most important Issues, one by one
🔸 Conclude [5 minutes]: recap To-Dos, confirm cascading messages, rate the meeting one to ten

A few small habits make this work every week:
👉 Start and end on time
👉 Follow the same agenda every time (resist the temptation to "make it your own."
👉 Spend most of the meeting solving Issues
👉 Keep score with the weekly Scorecard

Implementer vs. Integrator...
They sound the same...
but they each play very different (and critical)
role inside companies running on EOS.

If you’re running on EOS or considering it, it’s essential to understand the two powerful roles that drive traction and growth: the Implementer and the Integrator.

✔️ EOS Implementers are external coaches, teachers, and facilitators. They enter your business from the outside to implement the EOS Process purely. Their mission is to help your leadership team master a simple set of tools that creates clarity, accountability, and results. Think of them as your guide to building a strong foundation and gaining real Traction.

✔️ Integrators are internal leaders, often your COO or President, who live and breathe the day-to-day. They partner closely with the Visionary to integrate that big-picture thinking into every corner of the business. They align teams, manage priorities, and ensure ex*****on across all departments.

These roles are distinct. But when both are present and functioning in their unique abilities, the impact is extraordinary. That’s when leadership teams fire on all cylinders and the company gains true Vision, Traction, and Healthy.

Most hiring mistakes aren’t about skill.

They’re about fit.

In EOS, we help entrepreneurial leaders build teams that are 100% Right People in the Right Seats. That starts by knowing what to really look for when bringing someone new on board.

Here are 6 things to look for in your next hire (beyond the résumé):

1. They Live Your Core Values
If they don’t share your Core Values, it doesn’t matter how talented they are. Culture is everything.

2. They “GWC” the Seat
GWC = Get it, Want it, Capacity to do it.

1️⃣ Get it – They intuitively understand the role.
2️⃣ Want it – They’re genuinely excited about the work.
3️⃣ Capacity – They have the time, skill, and emotional bandwidth to do it well.

3. They Fit the Right Seat
Even Right People can fail in the wrong seat.

Every seat in your company should have 5 clear roles. If this person isn’t strong in all 5, they’re not the right fit.

4. They’re Humble, Hungry, and Smart
This comes from Patrick Lencioni’s The Ideal Team Player — and it aligns beautifully with EOS.
👉 Humble: No ego, team-first.
👉 Hungry: Self-motivated, driven.
👉 Smart: Not just IQ, emotional intelligence and people smarts.

5. They Have a Measurable
In EOS, everyone has a number. Can this person own a weekly measurable that drives results?

6. They Bring Diversity of Thought
You’re not hiring another you. A healthy team includes people who think differently, but who challenge ideas without challenging Core Values.

Diversity of perspective + alignment in values = magic.

Hiring is one of the most important leadership decisions you’ll make.

Don’t leave it to chance.

Use EOS tools like the People Analyzer, GWC, Accountability Chart, and Scorecard to make every hire count.

If you're seeing the same issues pop up over and over again... you don’t have a people problem.

You have a problem-solving problem.

Here are 5 practical tools from the Entrepreneurial Operating System to help you and your team solve issues faster (and keep them solved):

👉 Issues List
Get every issue out of your head and onto one visible list. When everything is captured and prioritized, you stop reacting and you start leading.

👉 IDS (Identify, Discuss, Solve)
A simple, repeatable way to get to the root cause and make a real decision. No spirals, no “let’s table it,” just clarity and action.

👉 Weekly Scorecard
A handful of leading numbers tells you early when something is off track. When a number is red, you don’t debate it; you put it on the Issues List and solve it.

👉 Level 10 Meeting
One weekly meeting with a tight agenda and a dedicated space to solve the most important issues. Less chaos, fewer random meetings, more traction.

👉 Clarity Break
Step away on purpose to think, prioritize, and reconnect to what matters most. Better thinking creates better decisions, and better decisions solve bigger problems.

If you’re tired of solving the same problems over and over, start by installing a system your team can actually follow.

As an Integrator, your power lies in driving ex*****on, creating clarity, and keeping the team focused on the 90-Day World.

You control how Rocks get done, how accountability is upheld, how meetings run, and how core processes are followed.

While you can’t control market shifts, team capacity, or legacy culture, your influence helps keep everyone aligned and moving forward.

Stay focused on what you can own, and lead with discipline and consistency 💪
