Helping a loved one stay safely at home? 💜🏡
You may qualify for tax-free compensation through Connecticut’s Adult Family Living (AFL) Program and the Connecticut Home Care Program for Elders (CHCPE).
The AFL Program, provided through the Connecticut Department of Social Services, allows seniors age 65 and older to receive daily care in a familiar home environment — while a family member or trusted individual serves as their caregiver.
💚 Our goal is to help our elders live a comfortable, peaceful, and dignified life — surrounded by care, compassion, and respect.
Who Can Apply?
✔ Connecticut resident
✔ Age 65 or older
✔ Enrolled in CHCPE
✔ Has Title 19 / Medicaid
✔ Meets financial eligibility requirements
Caregiver Information
• Caregivers may be family or trusted individuals
• No blood relation required
• Must live in the same home
• Spouses are not eligible as caregivers
• Married couples apply separately and may share the same caregiver
Caregivers receive weekly tax-free stipend payments via direct deposit.
