Don’t build relationships based on what someone can do for you today. Build them on who they are.⁠

You never know which connection God may use to open a door you never expected.

You can’t receive money if you can’t even receive a “thank you.”⁠

A lot of people are comfortable giving, helping, serving, and pouring into others.⁠

But when someone says, “Thank you,” they immediately respond with:⁠

“Oh, it was nothing.”⁠

That may sound humble, but sometimes the real challenge is that you haven’t learned how to receive.⁠

Receiving appreciation is not pride.⁠
⁠
It’s humility.⁠
⁠
And if you want people to value your work enough to pay you for it, you have to be able to receive the value they see in you.⁠

Knowledge can puff you up. Success can puff you up. Even giving can become a source of pride.⁠

But some of the wealthiest people listen more than they speak.⁠

The goal isn’t to prove how much you know.⁠

It’s to stay humble enough to receive.⁠
