Our original offering for years was a full repainting service and
refurbishment of leather fire helmets. Full paint service was eliminated when the Retro Helmet was in
troduced. Since then we have been able to innovate multiple solutions for firefighter's helmet needs such as:
- Making Retro Brass mainstream for leather helmets
- Innovating the original 880 helmet conversion to fit like a leather
- Creating the Retro Helmet option for the N5A, N6A, and G5A in 2015

The CCI crew are well involved in the fire industry, tapping into knowledge that spans three separate careers in the Hartford Fire Dept with years of experience. CCI proudly re-developed and brought back the Hartford Hook - an in house shop design from the City of Hartford CT. Phased out of service in the 1990s, a modern rendition of the hook has been reproduced in a wood traditional handle, and an all metal modern handle. Apparel
