Making leadership real and attainable.

Dr. Tamara B. Smith is an executive leader, leadership strategist, and project management expert with more than two decades of experience leading complex infrastructure and transportation initiatives. She serves in a senior leadership role at AECOM and is the founder of ADIRA Enterprise LLC, where she helps leaders and organizations lead and deliver with clarity, discipline, and confidence. She is also the founder of Take Your Seat, a global leadership platform centered on curated conversations, development experiences, and events that make leadership real and attainable. Dr. Smith is known for mentorship, sponsorship, advocacy, and service. She has co-facilitated the WISE Leadership Program since 2024.

One of my most recent milestones was launching Take Your Seat, a global leadership platform designed to create space for meaningful conversations, leadership development experiences, and events that make leadership inclusive, real, and attainable.

WISE Network supports me by creating space for connection, encouragement, visibility, and shared growth. It reminds me that leadership does not have to be isolating and that women can lead, build, serve, and thrive without shrinking any part of who they are.

I am grateful for the opportunity to use my leadership, service, and voice to make a meaningful impact.
