Passing of OSFM Life Safety Specialist Frank DellaMura

It is with a profound sadness that State Fire Marshal Ross and the Staff of the Office of State Fire Marshal announces the passing of Connecticut Life Safety Specialist Frank DellaMura.

Frank passed away January 10th after a brief, but courageous battle with cancer. Frank joined the staff at OSFM in 2008 after retiring from the New Haven Fire Department, Fire Marshal’s office where Frank last served in the position of Deputy Fire Marshal.

During his illness, Frank was grateful for every day and for his family and friends who supported during this trying time. We will always cherish the time, though brief, that we had to work with Frank. The professionalism he bought to his work, his sense of humor and willingness to tackle any task given him will remain as an inspiration to us all.

Frank leaves behind his wife, Kathy and sons Nicholas and Jacob. We ask that you keep Frank, his family and friends in your thoughts and prayers.
