Tuesday Farm report A follow-up and continuation video of some of the projects I'm working on back at the home farm in this case where I planted some open pollinated or heirloom corn next to a modern hybrid corn that is also genetically modified. Going to be a farm nerd video. So hang on Lavender. Festival's coming up Saturday and I'm trying to still wrap up some farm work.

I wish to thank everybody for coming out and making our first Saturday of lavender harvest Festival a success. It gives us the confidence to put the money back into the field for the future.

We have another Saturday harvest Festival coming up this weekend. Plus we have weekday options. Also the field will be open from 4:00 to 8:00.

Due to weather we are closing the lavender field today 🌧

The field will not be open for u-pick this evening, and we will also be cancelling our sunset yoga in the lavender field. If you signed up for yoga you should have received an email on how to reschedule.

All that being said-- the weather looks beautiful for tomorrow! ☀ Our field will be open from 4pm - 8pm for u-pick, and sunset yoga will be at 7pm. You can still get tickets for yoga here: https://maizevalley.ticketspice.com/yoga-in-the-lavender-field-sunset-edition

It's $10 to enter the field and look around/take photos, or $20 to enter the field and pick a commemorative bucket of lavender. Yoga tickets are $35 and include a 1-hour yoga session, your drink of choice, and a bundle of u-pick lavender.

Starting tomorrow our lavender field will be open to the public! Join us June 22 - July 3rd to pick, take pictures, or just relax amongst the blooms. Monday - Saturday the field will be open 4-8pm, and Sunday from 11-4.

Admission is $10 per person to just enter the field and look around/take pictures, or $20 to enter and pick a commemorative bucket of blooms.

We will have beverages available for purchase at the field and all cutting equipment will be provided.

This is the perfect opportunity to get some beautiful photos. See you out soon!

Tomorrow is the day! Join us for our Lavender Festival with Heart & Home Handmade Market from 10am - 4pm. Shop tons of local vendors, enjoy great food and drink + live music, and of course visit the lavender field.

There is no cost for parking or to enter the festival, just to enter the lavender field. It is $10 to just look around/take photos, or $20 to enter and pick a commemorative bucket of blooms.

Corn coming up in rows....but what's the difference? Will follow this field along this summer and I'll try and show you as I learn too.

I'm basically just trying to get our farm off this agricultural treadmill. The market and the winery has been a huge part of it but we still do Farm and it's very frustrating to try and make a living doing this. So thank you for supporting our small local business.
