Friends, we have a tough announcement to share about Cars & Guitars.
After carefully monitoring the forecast, we've made the difficult decision to postpone tomorrow's show.
We know what you're thinking — It might be okay in the morning! And honestly, we thought that too, but every time we check the forecast it looks a little worse. The window we were hoping for keeps shrinking, and while the heaviest rain is expected after the show ends, we're not willing to risk the weather turning on us and cutting the day short for everyone involved.
We know this is disappointing. This event means a lot to this community, and it means a lot to us too. But I'm asking you to trust me on this one. Cars & Guitars on a clear summer day is going to be worth the wait!
We are working to reschedule and expect to land on a late summer holiday weekend. Before we can confirm a date, we must go back through the approval process with GDOT to close the roads, so we appreciate your patience while we get that sorted. We'll announce the new date as soon as it's locked in.
