Black Bear Shooting Club is proud to announce we will be hosting the ELRSO “Poke the Bear 2024 Match” directed by Daniel Lynn and Jordan Congdon! We are looking forward to seeing everyone there!

ZERO day is Friday Nov. 8th for BOTH classes

BEGINS: November 9th, 2024 @ 7 AM

ENDS: November 10th 2024 by 6:30 PM

WHERE: Black Bear Shooting Complex, 2019 W James Anderson Highway Gladstone

Light Class and Heavy Class. Targets out to 2100yds.
There will be 6 targets per class, 5 rounds per target, 2 relays, 8 minutes each, 3 targets per relay, this is NOT hit to advance.

>> Light Class will shoot Saturday followed by awards Saturday evening.

>> Heavy Class will shoot Sunday followed by awards Sunday afternoon.

Zero day is November 8th for BOTH classes, there will be NO zeroing on Saturday November 9th, gates open at 10am & close at 5pm on November 8th for zero range.

LIMITED SLOTS: 40 shooters per class

ENTRY FEE: $250 per class

**Entry fee is waived for Juniors, please notify us if you are going to be registering a junior. **

** Entrants CAN participate in both classes.**

LIGHT CLASS: Perfect setup for the new ELR shooter and smaller calibers. Compete with calibers .338 and smaller. 26 # weight limit. Don’t be afraid to come run your lighter caliber guns.

HEAVY CLASS: 50 # weight limit. Angles and target transitions provide an extra challenge to all heavy class guns regardless of the distance.

Sharing rifles IS allowed per paid registered shooter, please bring your friend(s), spouse, kid(s) & come have a blast!

We are abiding by the K01M/KO2M rules for scoring and are excluding the limitation of bipods, this is NOT hit to advance, you CAN share rifles.

The closest lodging to Blackbear is in Appomatox, VA.

We've received many inquiries about attending the Major Land Sniper Cup as spectators. While we appreciate the enthusiasm, we need to clarify:

MLSC is NOT open to the public or spectators.

Here's what you need to know:
• Only registered competitors, staff, and authorized sponsors/vendors will be allowed entry
• Security at the access points will turn away anyone not on the approved list
• This policy is for safety and to maintain the integrity of the competition

We understand the desire to witness world-class shooting up close. However, the nature of our event and venue doesn't allow for safe spectator areas.

For those interested in the action:

• Consider competing next year!
