For those that celebrate Easter, it is coming up on Sunday, April 4th. Our kids love to color eggs and we love to eat the hard-boiled eggs and make deviled eggs out of them. You can buy kits or use food coloring. We like to start with colored eggs and use food coloring so you can get a bigger variety of colors. It also helps to use a white crayon to draw on the eggs prior to putting in the dye so you can see your design. Let us know if you would like to pre-order your eggs for Easter. I would recommend getting them the week before because if you hard-boil an egg that is 3-6 days, it will peel easier when ready to eat than if you were to hard-boil a fresh egg but either will work to color.

Let the hatching begin... we are incubating some eggs to hopefully add some hens to our flock that produce a bigger variety of colorful eggs.

Washing up eggs for orders today. We are currently out of eggs by the road but should have more mid-week. The ladies are producing more each day with the longer days. We are working on getting a better sign too!

We created this page a year ago and have not promoted it. Just a way to track the happenings at the Booms’ Family Farm & Circus. The kids are washing eggs and will be planning on planting a vegetable garden and flower garden this year. We will be putting a stand out for fresh veggies and flowers as they are available. If you are interested, follow our page for updates. We are excited for Spring!
