cators

Education:
Provide formal educational opportunities for GLFA members to enhance their design, technical, and business skills. Professional Partnerships:
Professional Partnerships are formal partnerships developed by GLFA with businesses or other organizations to benefit GLFA members. These partnerships use GLFA’s group strength to provide the best services and benefits for all GLFA members. Professional Partnerships are divided into two categories, Business Services and Benefits. Examples of each category are shown in the diagram to the right. Business Services are partnerships that are formed with other organizations and institutions to benefit or promote GLFA and its members, or support GLFA and its members’ position in the floral industry. Benefits are partnerships that have been developed and are maintained to provide members with tangible services. Forefront of the Floral Industry:
To position the GLFA member at the forefront of the floral industry is demonstrated when GLFA members are:
➢ The trend setters for the industry

In The Profitable Sympathy Portfolio, Kelsey Thompson AIFD, CFD, PFCI kept it real: if you’re only charging based on supplies, you’re probably undercharging.

A few dollars of wire and mechanics might not look like much on paper — but your time, skill, and design brain? That’s the value.

Charge for the materials. Charge for the labor.
And charge for your expertise.

⛳ How does the Golf Outing work?

First off it's about fun and connecting more than your scorecard.

It's a 4-person scramble, so hopefully one of the four of you hit a good ball. Then you pick which one you play from.

Get to know new faces and reconnect with ones you already know - sign up on the GLFA website 🌐

P.S - It's a lot more fun than being in the office all day 👀

♻️ Reuse to reduce.

Hitomi Gilliam AIFD, CFD, PFCI shares a powerful idea: what if the structure is part of the design?

By creating semi-permanent armatures and reusable mechanics, florists can reduce waste, use fewer flowers, and create profitable designs that can be refreshed and reused again and again for corporate accounts and recurring customers.
