It’s that time of year…

Watched this video tonight after practice with the team and man did it bring out some emotions. Friday night football was our whole lives growing up playing at CB West. When you are 16,17, 18 years old you don’t realize how fast those Friday nights go and how once they are gone you can never get them back. Tomorrow will be the first time in 26 years that I’ve walked out on that field on a Friday night and I couldn’t have picked a better group of kids and coaches to do it with. These young men have worked so hard and I’m so proud to play a small part in this team. There’s nothing left to do but watch them fly and I have no doubt that they are going to bring and incredible energy to War Memorial Field tomorrow night. Enjoy this time boys because it goes by way too quick.

A friend of ours recently lost his mother in law in a tragic house fire. My teammate is going to be teaching a seminar at to raise money to help this family out in their time of need. It just so happens that the seminar is on my birthday so this year I’m asking you all to pack the mats and donate to support our friend in need.
