TalosAvionics, founded in 2014 by aviation enthusiasts with a wide background in fields related to computer science and robotics. With a clear focus in R&D, our vision is to bring state-of-the-art sensor fusion technology in the avionics domain and to create new avionics devices with unprecedented accuracy and robustness. Our first product, A-EFIS, is an Electronic Flight Information System for ai

rplanes, which runs on mobile devices (IOS and Android), using their internal sensors only (gyroscopes, accelerometers, magnetometers, barometers and GPS). Our second product, AEOLUS, is an external sensor box which is used to sense air speed and external temperature and to communicate the acquired information to A-EFIS. The additional sensory information supplements the already available information of the internal sensors of the user’s mobile device, greatly enhancing the functionality and the usability of A-EFIS. With a handful of pioneering additional products in the final stages of development, TalosAvionics aims to perform a loud break-through in the continuously emerging field of Avionics and eventually to win the trust of the aviation community.
