Introducing Revolution Rescue

A New Approach to Light Rescue — Coming Soon

Drawing on more than 42 years of fire service experience, Carolina Fire Apparatus is developing Revolution Rescue, a new fiberglass rescue body concept designed around a simple idea: give firefighters more usable equipment space and make that equipment easier and safer to access.

Revolution Rescue is being developed to offer departments a smaller, more maneuverable response vehicle with flexible equipment storage and chassis options. Whether supporting fire, rescue, EMS, or specialized operations, our goal is to help departments expand their capabilities without unnecessary size, complexity, or expense.

Revolution Rescue is currently in development. We look forward to sharing more as the concept progresses.

I thought this was a really big thing this year. I counted at least 18 engines with the red snake. Is it back? These were often on a war wagon with attack lines off the rear.

What's off here? Fit and finish. Let's take time, align the diamonds and weld that joint.

We see this far too often, why do manufacturers not protect the dump valve? Let's put something structural like a tailboard to protect the rear of the apparatus and that dump valve.

Fine for and finish on the Toyne units all electric controls. We prefer direct mechanical connection but this works for this department.

Lots of good, and different in Raleigh this year.

One of the items we noticed was a lot of units did not have cross-lays. This helps push the unit to pull past the address and make room for the Truck.

This unit might have those stack lines a little TOO high.
