Over the past two months, we have been putting in the effort to create a resource for those transitioning out of high school and into adulthood. Justin Eimers, Steven Tucker and myself just released our sixth episode. The significance behind this, is that it contained our first special guest, Justin Garritt with Garritt Financial Solutions, LLC. Our ultimate goal is to help young professionals navigate the transition from high school and into the real world. Whether that be entering the workforce, college, trade schools, etc. Through our experience and capturing advice from those who specialize in the months topic we can do just that. I look forward to the adventure ahead and if anyone would like to be a part of the show, a mentor or a partner, please get in touch with me.

Thank you!

Often times we believe success has passed us by and we stop preparing for what could be and accept what we have become. Success is like a magnet, those that prepare for it attract it, those that don’t push it away. In the world today there is more available wealth in knowledge than you could ever imagine. Whether it be audio books, podcasts, free seminars and those who you surround yourself with. Don’t let the pressure of failure cause you to loose your magnetic charge to success. Instead charge yourself each and everyday with the right knowledge, food and company and you will find your success. (J)

"Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another." (Proverbs 27:17) putting yourself in situations of difficulty or stepping outside your norm creates an opportunity for growth. Surround yourself with those who keep you honest and hold you to a higher standard. Change your mindset to understand the benefit of challenges and surrounding yourself with individuals who do the same and nothing can stand in your way. (JJ)

Justin here: I used to work for a guy that said we should work as if every day was Tuesday. I didn’t quite understand it at first so I asked him to explain it. He said, “People come in Mondays, are sluggish and have to shake off the cobwebs. Near the tail end of the week — Thursday and Friday — people are already checked out and making plans for the weekend. Tuesday is the day you’re most focused on tasks and being productive, not just busy.” I’ve tried to treat every day of my career as a Tuesday. I haven’t always been successful but if I go into the day with that mindset it automatically sets the tone.

As the quote by Neale Donald Walsh goes, “Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.” But don’t just step outside of it to get to where you want to go, JUMP. I think we all fall into the safety and security of our own comfort zones fearing failure, judgement or really any adverse impacts on our lives. Regardless of the decision facing you, tackle it with an open mind but also with intent, focus and commitment.
