🍁 Peak fall color is HERE in the northern Poconos! 🍂😍
The fall foliage show is in full swing, with brilliant reds, golden yellows and fiery oranges lighting up the Pocono Mountains! Northern Wayne County is hitting peak color now, while the central and southern regions are catching up. 🍁✨
🌲 Northern Poconos: ~90% color | Peak happening NOW
🍂 Central Poconos: ~65% color | Peak expected Oct. 10–17
🍁 Southern Poconos: ~30% color | Peak expected Oct. 20–28
Sugar Maples are glowing orange, Birch and Hickory are bringing the gold, and Red Maples, Sumac and Virginia Creeper are adding stunning pops of red. Even with some leaves falling after recent winds, there’s still plenty of gorgeous autumn scenery to enjoy!
