You know what feels so good about being organized? It’s the simplicity it brings to your life.

One of my favorite, and most copied life hacks is this ➡️ in the drawer near our back foyer, I keep a nail clipper and seam ripper. Nail clipper for a last minute, forgotten nail trim/hang nail and the seam ripper to remove uncomfortable clothes tags.
A bad tag can really be annoying!

It finally happened guys. Finally! Years and years on the “must happen list.” My office has been storing two towers and two laptops for years because they contained pictures and videos of our kids that I was so scared of losing. I wanted them all in one place with easy access. I’m so grateful I made the 2 minute call last week to get it arranged and now I can’t stop smiling. I feel so accomplished and I didn’t do a thing 😃 I’m clicking through memories and wondering why the heck our kids grew up when I specifically told them to never do such a a thing!

If you know me, have been to our house, or have met my husb, you know that we’re some super duper organized Pietas. For us it just makes sense. Our lives seem a bit calmer, a little neater, and a lot less quieter because everyone knows where everything belongs.

But alas… I bring you exhibit A. My spice drawers. Mismatched 😱 and disorganized 😒.

Last week I finally took the time to fix them up and look how great they look! I freed up so much space. Now that I can easily see everything, I won’t be buying multiple lost spices, food prep will be quicker, and my eyes are so pleased!

Why does organization feel *shoulder shimmy shake* SO good!

It’s been a hot second since I last posted, but I’m back, I’m back 💃🏼 You know how sometimes you love posting and scrolling on fb and sometimes you don’t? Yea, I didn’t 🤷🏼‍♀️.

This past week I spent hours - 37 hours to be exact, of moving prep which included wrapping, protecting and labeling art and artifacts from around the world. From the Napali coast of Hawaii to Tanzania to everything in between. Such a unique project, mixed in with lots of laughs and stories, all with a wonderful client.

Genius!! Do you ever look at something and think “man, this is a great freaking idea.” This library drop off box, right outside Sunset Foods is a great freaking idea!
(🤫 I’m the worst library book returner. I selfishly take my time returning books because our library has a no late fee policy. I know, I know, it’s me not the them.)
Since we’re stuck on the home front for the next few weeks I think each day I’ll post what I think is “a great freaking idea.” Send me yours too!

Thank you everyone for your patience in scheduling appointments this week. One of my very best friends had her dog escape from the groomer when he found out he was there for a dreadful bath 😮. He busted through a door and broke down a fence in pursuit of a life of freedom and wild adventures. 4 days and nights of intense dog hunting and mission accomplished! We found Brody today clean, happy, not a pound of weight loss and walking home the scenic lake view route. Back to the spoiled indoor life for Brody and back to organizing for me.
I’m throwing in my towel in the dog hunting world, 🙋🏼‍♀️ rather be organizing.

Spotted these cool market baskets at Costco today. 2 for $15.99 These would look great in a walk in pantry for something like storing snacks. A label with white font would make it look extra sweet!
