Did you see our banner at the fair?!

I started Panhandle Propane with one goal in mind: to serve our community the way it deserves to be served.

Seeing our banner hanging in the arena at the Kootenai County Fair was more than just a milestone for me — it was an honor, and I couldn’t have been more proud.

This community has supported us, trusted us, and allowed us to keep doing what we truly love. Thank you to every customer, friend, and family member who keeps Panhandle Propane going. We wouldn’t be here without you.

And a huge thank you to the Kootenai County Fair and the entire team who helped make this happen. These guys are truly amazing people, and we’re proud to support a place that means so much to our community.

Just another terrible day at the office… 😂

Mountain views, lakefront property, and burying propane tanks. Somebody’s gotta do it.

Meanwhile, Nick’s down in the hole doing all the work while I’m up top handling the important stuff… taking selfies. 😂

I’d say teamwork makes the dream work, but Nick might have a different definition of teamwork after seeing this picture.

The last load of new tanks for the year has arrived!

15 is the number.

With a heavy schedule and already 100 tank sets on the books through December, our priority is making sure we take care of the customers we already have through the heating season. We will never make promises we can’t keep just to make another sale.

For the remainder of the year, we have:

* 15 more underground 1,000-gallon tanks
* 5 more underground 500-gallon tanks
* 2 more above-ground 1,000-gallon tanks
* 7 more above-ground 500-gallon tanks

And that’s it for 2026. We are officially sold out and booked through March.

It’s pretty amazing to look at this picture and think about how far we’ve come. None of it happens without the people who continue to trust us with their homes, businesses, and families.

The entire Panhandle Propane family is incredibly thankful for the support. We’re going to keep doing what got us here—taking care of our customers, keeping our word, and never making promises we can’t keep.

Today marks 300 tank sets for Panhandle Propane this year, with another 100 already on the books.

We couldn’t do it without the trust of our customers, builders, contractors, and everyone who continues to support our small business. Thank you for keeping us busy and allowing us to do what we love.

I’d like to introduce you to someone who’s been a huge part of Panhandle Propane’s success.

This is Jake Nelson with CDA Books.

Jake is an incredible husband, father, and friend. From the business side, I honestly don’t know where Panhandle Propane would be without him. He keeps track of the chaos, pays the bills, makes sure everything is where it needs to be, and allows me to focus on taking care of our customers and growing the company.

But what I appreciate most isn’t just what he does behind the scenes. It’s the late-night phone calls, the business advice, the honest conversations, and having someone I can trust completely. When it comes to my business, there’s no one whose opinion I value more.

Another day, another couple of tanks headed underground. 💪🔥

Today we set a pair of underground propane tanks and got this property one step closer to being ready for years of reliable heat and energy. From excavation to placement, every detail matters, and our crew takes pride in doing it right the first time.

There’s something satisfying about watching a plan come together, especially when it starts with a pile of dirt and ends with a clean, professional installation.

It’s been one hell of a week.

The transports are done, The storage is full, and now it’s time to catch our breath, refuel, and get a little rest before Monday rolls around.

Weeks like this remind us just how much propane moves through North Idaho and how much work goes on behind the scenes to keep homes warm, businesses running, and customers supplied.

We’re grateful for our customers, our team, and everyone who keeps the wheels turning.

Come Monday morning, we’ll be rested, loaded up, and ready to hit the ground running.
