Our Back 40 Forestry website is currently down, and we’re working on getting a new and improved website up and running!

In the meantime, you can still reach us right here on Facebook or contact us directly for questions, estimates, and scheduling. We appreciate your patience while we work on the transition!

Another piece of equipment, another road to travel. 🇺🇸

Our new flatbed trailer is loaded up and headed to Oregon to support federal fire operations. 🔥🌲

We’re continuing to build our fleet so we can respond when and where the work takes us.

We feel so fortunate to be in the position to sponsor local non profits and Medicaid-funded agencies this year. As business grows, so does our ability to say "yes!" This isn't a post about clout, but more-so a call to action. We have enjoyed our partnership with various agencies in Kootenai County and look forward to more in the future. From small to large, please find ways to support the agencies that are struggling to keep doors open with so many Medicaid cuts happening. It makes a difference. ❤️

Over the past several weeks (or months 😜) we’ve been tackling land clearing, forestry mulching, defensible space, and property improvement projects, while also spending time out of town working on federal wildfire contracting assignments.

We’re grateful for every customer who has trusted Back 40 Forestry with their property. Your support has kept us moving all season!
