Procrastination. Perfectionism. Unworthiness.

These are the patterns that surfaced for me on this growth journey.

At first, they felt like separate struggles. But when I looked closer, I realized they were all rooted in one thing: fear of success.

Here’s the process I followed:

1️⃣ Notice when you feel stuck
For me, it showed up as procrastination, perfectionism, and unworthiness.

2️⃣ Identify what the resistance is really saying
Mine was fear of success—trying to protect me from judgment and shame.

3️⃣ Respond with curiosity and compassion
Now, when resistance shows up, I thank it for doing its job… and then take one small step toward my intention.

🚦 Resistance isn’t a stop sign. It’s a signal.
Notice it. Name it. Then move forward with awareness.

P.S. As I wrote about fear of success, my cat curled up in my lap—a sweet reminder that even when resistance shows up, comfort and support are right here too.

Leadership doesn’t have to be fueled by urgency and overextension.

Leadership is built in the quiet moments no one sees.

It’s shaped by how you are.

I lead better when I’m resourced—mentally, emotionally, and energetically.

For me, that looks like:

• Morning rituals that help me ground before giving
• Holding space from a place of inner clarity, not urgency
• Space in my calendar for walks, stillness, or silence
• Evening reflection instead of inbox firefighting

These behind-the-scenes choices make the visible results possible.

Sustainable leadership isn’t about doing less.
It’s about doing what matters, in a way that lasts.

I used to think success meant staying busy.
Always striving. Always achieving. Always “on.”

But underneath the polished schedule and proud titles…
I was exhausted.

Disconnected from myself.
Disconnected from what I truly wanted.

It wasn’t until I slowed down and listened inward that I began to lead differently—from a place of clarity, purpose, and soul.

At the start of the year, I set out to launch a coaching business and write a book.
I also had no idea what direction my life was heading…

I was living with uncertainty in my relationship, working unpredictable hours, unsure what my next move would be.

Since then, I’ve:
✅ Built the foundation of my coaching business
✅ Gotten married and relocated
✅ Found a stable part-time job that supports my mission

More importantly—I’ve learned what I’m really here to do.

That clarity led to a powerful shift: Self-Leadership Coaching.
Because no matter the season, real growth begins when you lead from within.

And now, I’m turning inward again.

Starting August 3, I’ll be personally walking through my Growing Your Inner Garden email series—just like you.
