Our Technician of the Month for September is Matt Paffrath! In his time with Hammer & Steel, Matt has made a meaningful impact across several areas of the business. Since starting as a welder in 2018, Matt has expanded his experience by transitioning into the fast-paced HVR department, supporting Mobilram service and orientations, and contributing to work on the SoilTek and Tecop drilling rigs. Today, Matt leads every Movax installation completed to date while continuing to support service needs as they arise.

Matt brings professionalism, reliability, and a customer-focused approach to every interaction. Whether working directly with clients or supporting teammates in the shop, he consistently demonstrates a positive attitude, a willingness to help, and a commitment to doing the job the right way.

Technician Spotlight-Kyle Coletta

This month, Hammer & Steel is highlighting technician Kyle Coletta from our Sparta Branch. Kyle has been with H&S for just over 4 years, focusing on supporting our ABI line, and recently participated in our Master Technician Training Program with ABI. One of the reasons we celebrate technicians like Kyle is because of his dedication to understanding and solving problems the right way.

During his recent class at the ABI Headquarters in Germany, Kyle was involved in a real-world repair and worked with the Technician Support Team during his training. Not only was Kyle able to get the customer back up and running, but he continued to analyze the issue, dissect the functions of the machine, and find the actual root cause of the issue so it could be addressed properly when everyone else was stumped.
