Death Benefit Fund Payout

It is with sadness that we share that brother Ron Speirs, retiree of AVS, passed away on May 30, 2026. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time.

His beneficiary was paid the sum of $2,530.00, which represents the amount available in the Death Benefit Fund account when we were notified of his passing.

Western North Dakota got hit hard by last night’s storm. ⛈️🌬️ Since then, linemen and utility crews have been working around the clock to restore power and repair damaged lines. ⚡

Their long hours, hard work, and dedication to keeping our communities connected are greatly appreciated. 🙌

If you see a lineman or utility worker today, be sure to give them a wave 👋 or a quick thank you. Their efforts make a huge difference, especially after a storm like this. ⚡💪

Brother Richard Reich, a member of IBEW Local 1593, was involved in a serious work-related accident on February 5, 2026. He is currently receiving care and undergoing therapy at an out-of-state medical facility. This has created additional travel needs for his loved ones who are supporting him through recovery.
