Our Student Action Committee Co-Chairs for this year’s Operation: CAN DO, Amanda Stoffa of MMI Preparatory School and Alvin Miller of Hazleton Area Academy of Sciences, met with PA State Rep. Dane Watro this week to discuss the 22nd Annual Operation: CAN DO and its continued impact on our community.

During the meeting, students came prepared with thoughtful questions and shared their goals and aspirations while discussing the importance of giving back and supporting our local service members.

Our Summer Events Series brought the community together with family-friendly movie nights, yoga, Zumba, Pilates, and an event recognizing and celebrating our local first responders. The series filled the park with activity, fun, and opportunities for the community to come together all summer long.
