We just released our 3rd vintage of Joseph-Jibril Wines! 2023 was incredibly good to us: we doubled production (again!), worked our first big festival Outside Lands Music Festival, had 1 sentence written about us in Forbes, and made our best wines yet! Bobby and I hauled our own fruit, stomped our own grapes, monitored each and every ferment, and tasted together nearly every day.
In this, our 3rd year in business together and our 6th year making wines together, we learned so much about ourselves. We solidified the type of vineyards we want to source fruit from: practicing, converting, or certified organic. We stayed true to our winemaking ethos: native ferments, minimal intervention, maximum care and attention. Most importantly, we had a ton of fun making these wines, and can't wait to share them with you all!

I'd be remiss not to thank all the people that have helped us thus far, and continue to help us as we learn and grow. To our growers, interns that helped us set up and break down the winery every day, to our peers who lent us equipment or an ear, to our mentors who keep encouraging us to trust ourselves, and to our partners who put up with our disappearing for 3 months out of the year: thank you all so much.
