I took a gelding in on trade today. He missed the dentist by one day, but he said he’d make a special trip over next week to make sure we don’t keep him waiting. Danielle already has him on Casey’s Books as soon as possible they’re going to continuing education farrier seminars this next week, and Kelly well Kelly was there waiting when he arrived. She’s become a corner stone to this whole shabang.

In the equine industry people often talk about their feed programs, and their products they use. The things you should buy, or try.  Don’t let me fool you I’m the first one to place an order anytime I see something I think might make life a little easier around here or rehab a little quicker.

But, I can tell you I’d never be able to accomplish anything without the team God has given me. In Pitkin, in Troup, and here. God at every stage of this business has sent people that I needed at that stage. People capable of meeting me where I was at that time, but still help the horses.

The longer I’ve been in business the more I realize this is GODs plan, this is GODs business. I am just very grateful and blessed that I am who he chose to Stewart it. I have failed many times learning to be the person this business needed.  He definitely called me before I was qualified.

But, I am in awe of such a great God, especially on days like today. He has never given up on me, this business, or the dreams we’ve all had. After every failure he has been there faithfully waiting for us and ready to help us start again.

My team from the man who feeds, to the girls who help, to my assistant, the professionals who show up and always treat my clients and horses with the same respect and offer the same world class treatment their show clientele get, that’s GOD.

I’ve watched my team evolve, and this team I have now they’re all WORLD CLASS professionals. They make trips to my barn, after working on World Champion athletes. There’s no way I would believe that my buying and selling operation would boast the professionals it does today. But, GOD Showed me that there are real people who work in this industry who value the horses.

I said today these people skill set opened doors for them to work on horses who have won hundreds of thousands of dollars, and then GOD opened the door for my horses to be able to get the same quality of care by the same world class professionals, even if they’ll never see a show ring, or a performance arena. That’s how we know GOD IS PRESENT.

Today I am grateful.

Toby has been used as a lead horse on the race track, and he most recently gave beginner adult lessons at an English facility. He is safe and a big gentle horse. He has a cut on the back of rights pasturn where he for string caught around at their round bale. It’s healing nicely.

He is being sold as is, with this cut present it’s a little tender.
