The Friends of the Library delivered 300 books to the Northumberland Middle School. These books will be used in their spring reading programs.

Last evening the Friends of the Library held an Arts Alive event that celebrated the Art work and Achievements of Hilary Derby.
During this event she discussed her wonderfully detailed and accurate depiction of historical events in America's history.
She was also presented with an award by the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR). Dr. Hilary Derby is now a certified "Women in American History" member. This is a very high award which is given to only a select few people.

Congratulations Dr. Derby.
