Life Cycle of the Mosquito:
1. Eggs - After a blood meal, the female mosquito lays her eggs in areas prone to flooding and stagnant water.
2. Larva - Mosquito larva resemble hairy worms and feed on microorganisms within the water.
3. Pupa - After feeding, the larva molt, and spend 1-4 days casting as they transform into adults.
4. Adult - A mating swarm occurs shortly after the full grown mosquito's hatch.

Mosquitoes live on average about one to two months.
