Over the course of ten days, I had the honor of serving as the celebrant for two women with very different life stories.

One had lived a long, full life.

The other had her life cut short at 46--right in the midst of the good stuff.

Both families came together to share memories, laughter, tears, and the stories that make a life meaningful.

Of all the work I’ve done in my end-of-life career, celebrant work is my favorite.

I love helping families during this stage of loss, getting to know the person they loved and helping create a gathering that reflects who they were.

It’s work that feels deeply meaningful and valuable.

I’m grateful every time a family trusts me with their stories.

Every life has a story worth telling and gathering to tell those stories matters.

Hello all. I'm working on an eulogy and I'm trying to find someone who can clarify something for me about the Sip 'n Dip Lounge in Great Falls. I know that the mermaids swimming started in the 90's, but in the 60's, when it opened, could you see the hotel guests swimming in the pool while you sat in the bar? Sip 'n Dip Great Falls

Cemeteries offer a glimpse of the things that people find significant. They offer snapshots of cultures frozen at specific points in time. They give us the opportunity to observe how others have interacted with death.
