As tributes poured in from around the world, Dolly Parton had an intimate, private burial service. Her family honored her in a way that fulfilled her wishes.
Bigger doesn't always mean better. Sometimes simple and meaningful is the way to go. Sometimes big is the way to go. Whatever you choose, make it meaningful.

Remember when the movie Titanic was all the rage? Fans found a grave of a J. Dawson in Halifax, Nova Scotia. J. Dawson had died in the Titanic tragedy. All the same, fans had become so invested in the story of Jack and Rose that they made the pilgrimage to the Dawson grave. An example of people connecting with fictional characters. Long before the Titanic, there was Charlotte Temple.
