Rodney Street just got a little more colorful.

Two new murals have joined the rodneyartsdistrict collection, and they’re worth a stop.

“Rodney Street Rabbits” by Rachael Marjamaa (Rachael Marjamaa ) celebrates the neighborhood’s beloved feral rabbits, painted in a French mille fleurs style with plants, flowers, and critters filling every inch. Each rabbit is based on real reference photos from the neighborhood, including some cared for by Rodney Rabbit Rescue.

“The Balance of Nature” by Nic Hareland (Lord Fudge 333 ) captures two pigeons fleeing a peregrine falcon, a bold, illustrative nod to the natural order that plays out every day, even on Rodney Street.

This is what happens when artists, neighbors, and community come together. Rodney Street keeps proving that public art doesn’t just decorate a neighborhood, it tells its story.

Go see them for yourself, and grab a bite or say hi to a local business while you’re there.

At MBAC, we believe in supporting nonprofits that support our community. And our team, board, and development partners believe in that too. 💙

Community and economic development isn’t just what we do from 9 to 5, it’s something our team genuinely cares about outside of work as well. Whether it’s volunteering, donating, or simply showing up, our staff put that same belief into action every day.

Strong nonprofits build strong communities. We’re proud to support them, and even prouder of the people on our team who do the same.

Home isn’t just a place: It’s Lewis & Clark, Meagher, and Broadwater counties. 🏔️

From music festivals and rodeos to art tours and downtown World Cup viewings, these counties know how to show up for one another. That kind of connection doesn’t happen by accident. It’s built by neighbors, local businesses, and communities who choose to participate, invest, and show up, year after year.

That’s also why workforce attraction and retention matter so much here. People don’t just want a job. They want a community. Strong local businesses, vibrant downtowns, and a genuine sense of belonging are what keep talented people here, and what draw new ones in.

At MBAC, we believe economic development and community development go hand in hand. Supporting local businesses isn’t just good for the economy. It’s good for the fabric of the places we call home.

Proud to call this region home. Prouder to help keep it thriving. đź’™

Why do we do what we do? 🤝 It’s not because every challenge is easy.

Community and economic development is complex work. It takes patience, collaboration, and a willingness to work behind the scenes. Progress rarely happens overnight.
So why do it?

Because we care about the communities we call home. About local businesses, entrepreneurs, jobs, families, nonprofits - and the people working every day to make them stronger.

One of the greatest privileges of this work is watching businesses grow, projects come to life, and partnerships make a lasting difference because people choose to work together.

Much of it happens quietly, but the impact is real.
The businesses we support are just a small sample of the entrepreneurs and organizations helping shape our region every day. Their success strengthens our communities, creates opportunities for others, and reminds us why this work matters.
