We are here to protect the people and property of your co That was back then, and boy Hemet has really changed.

Hemet and the San Jacinto Valley was once a was the vacation ground in the 1900's for many Hollywood movie stars. Hemet was known for a very popular retirement and at one point around 25-30 years ago it was said that Hemet Banks which ran along Florida Ave had more money then Wall Street. The housing boom in the early to mid 2000's had family moving because of a great city to raise families. Then

the recession hit and housing boom came to a halt. The economy took a hard hit and affected Hemet worse than other cities in Riverside County. Crime and homelessness has taken over our city and those who live here are tired of living in fear. Because if this we have started "Hemet Gate Keepers" with the hope of the community joining forces with the city administration, the police department and public services, faith based groups, service organizations and local businesses. Please join us as we work together to take back our city and valley. Please be part of the solution and help make Hemet great again. God Bless this city and valley!

Official Statement from Hemet Gatekeepers:

We have some news to share with you here at Hemet Gatekeepers Security. After over 5 years of doing business in the city of Hemet we have decided to close our doors as of March 1st, 2023. This has been a hard decision as you can imagine.

Whether it was providing security for business’ getting ravaged by small crime, graffiti removal, assisting with city clean ups to beautify our city, or our community outreach to the homeless, the idea was simple: “If not us than who, and if not now then when?”

We saw a need to assist the community with the rise of infractions like petty theft, trespassing, loitering, and panhandling, and how that was crippling local business’. By doing that we saw great success.

We want to dispel any rumors that can easily arise from social media. During these past 5 years the cost of doing business has risen so dramatically that we simply weren’t able to keep up. Nor did we feel we could burden our customers with the cost proportionate to those increases. We honestly had to cut our losses before they got too deep.

When we first started this company the heart of our vision was to help give this city a helping hand. We did that and we are proud of our many accomplishments.

With that being said we have reached out to many of our customers to let them know they will be able continue their current contracts with The 9th Shield Inc. We’ve made an alliance with this company as we believe they have and fulfill the same vision. They have a great reputation with local law enforcement and have been another staple within this community. Please give them a follow and all your support during this transition.

We want to thank this wonderful community for all of the heart warming encouragement and support throughout the years. We truly believe this community is in good hands.

We want to thank all of our security officers who at times risked their lives to protect people and property. They were on the front lines daily passionately desiring to make a difference in their hometown.

We want to thank our many valued clients for the opportunity to have served you.

And with that we are signing off one final time. We leave you with the words of John F. Kennedy, “There are risks and costs to action. But they are far less than the long range risks of comfortable inaction.”

We truly cannot not express our gratitude to all those who have had our backs throughout the years. You made it all worth it. God bless you and continue fighting the good fight!
