Is fear dictating your actions?

I recently spoke with a friend who has an incredible idea and a unique concept they’re afraid to share with the world.

“What will people think?”
“What if I fail?”

I told them that’s fear talking.

And God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. 2nd Tim. 1:7

What have you been afraid to do? What dream have you put on hold? What opportunity have you talked yourself out of? What calling have you been ignoring?

Don’t rob the world of what only you can bring.

💡Write the book.
💡Launch the business.
💡Accept the promotion.
💡Lead the team.
💡Apply for the role.
💡Start the ministry.
💡Share the idea.

The world needs your gifts, your voice, and your perspective.

Fear will always give you reasons to stay where you are.
Faith will give you the courage to take the next step.

What’s waiting on the other side of your fear may be bigger than you ever imagined.

Are you a thief?

Are you robbing the world of your purpose? We all have a reason for being here. Each of us carries something unique; a gift, a story, a calling, an assignment meant to make a difference.

Your purpose is not just for you. It is meant to serve, uplift, help others, and create impact in ways only you can.

So don’t shrink. Don’t talk yourself out of what you were created to do.

Don’t rob the world of your purpose and your impact. The world needs what you carry.

Titles, positions, and applause can fade… so know who you are.

I once believed that if I had the right title or position, I had finally found my identity. But over time, I realized those things are temporary.
Titles can change. Positions can shift and applause fades.

That’s why your confidence cannot be rooted in temporary things.
Knowing who you are, embracing your authentic self, and discovering your purpose is what truly matters.

Your identity is not found in a title. It’s found in who God says you are. And when you truly understand that, you stop allowing people, positions, and opinions to define your value.

Anchor your confidence in something that cannot be taken away.

There’s nothing more meaningful than hearing that the work truly resonated. 💜

I’m incredibly grateful to hear feedback like this from Sandra Z. Diaz, BSEng, MBA at Restore NYC after facilitating leadership training with their team earlier this month!

One thing I believe deeply, great trainings should do more than “check a box.” They should create reflection, spark conversation, challenge perspectives, and leave people with practical tools they can actually use.

Sandra shared that my storytelling, facilitation style, and interactive exercises helped create an engaging and impactful experience for their team!

Whether I’m speaking about:
💡Emotional Intelligence
💡Leadership Development
💡Growth Mindset
💡Culture & Team Engagement

My goal is always the same, to create spaces where people feel empowered to grow, lead, and Thrive Inclusively !

Thank you, Sandra and the Restore NYC team, (Tameika Halliman, MSHR, PHR) for your openness, engagement, and trust. It was truly an honor to work with your leaders.

If your organization is looking for a dynamic speaker or who combines strategy, , engagement, and practical leadership development tools, I’d love to connect. Calendar link in the comments.

It's okay, in fact it's necessary to celebrate your wins and own your accomplishments. It’s necessary to talk about yourself, highlight what you’ve achieved, and let others know the value you bring. That's not bragging, that's and branding!

Too many women downplay their success and wait for someone else to notice. But they may never notice!

So here is a list of "to do's" for this week:
-Own your story.
-Share your wins.
-Walk confidently in the value you bring to every room.
-Thank God for the grace, favor and strength that makes it all possible.

On Wednesday, Thrive Inclusively’s CEO and Founder, Maxine Legall, had the opportunity to facilitate an engaging session on Emotional Intelligence (EQ) during the leadership retreat for the team at Restore.

Her session highlighted that leader with strong EQ:

• Create psychologically safe environments
• Aren’t afraid to admit when they’ve made a mistake
• Understand that empathy is a strength, not a weakness
• Pause and respond thoughtfully instead of reacting emotionally

When leaders strengthen their emotional intelligence, trust grows, communication improves, and teams thrive.

Thank you to the Restore team for your openness, engagement, and commitment to growing as leaders. It was an honor to partner with you. And a special thanks to Tameika Halliman for the invitation!

If your organization is looking to develop more confident, emotionally intelligent leaders, Thrive Inclusively would love to connect. Our calendar link is in the comments!

Fear is not a stop sign—it’s a signal.

I’ve faced fear that made me want to run and hide. That new opportunity.
That challenging project. And yes, even starting a new business.

But here’s what I’ve learned: fear should not stop you from moving forward.
More often than not, fear is a sign that you are stepping into something bigger than you’ve ever experienced before.

On the other side of that fear is something greater: A stronger, braver, wiser, and more confident version of you.

So keep going! Your breakthrough may be waiting on the other side of your fear.

A scripture that has kept me grounded- “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” — 2 Timothy 1:7

What fears do you need to face this week? You can do this!!!

This past weekend, our CEO Maxine Legall had the opportunity to speak on the topic “Walking in Purpose”— at the “Elevate Your Wellness Conference” at Community Worship Center and it was a powerful and energizing experience.

A few key takeaways to consider:
💡Discovering your purpose begins with alignment with God—when you’re aligned, clarity follows.
💡If you are alive and breathing, you already have a purpose. You’re not here by accident.
💡Comparison can be a distraction that blocks you from fully seeing and embracing your own unique purpose.
💡Adopting a allows you to not only discover your purpose, but sustain and evolve in it.

If you’re feeling unclear, stuck, or ready to go deeper in your purpose, this is the work we do. We to get aligned, build confidence, and walk boldly in what they’ve been called to do.

Ready to step into your with clarity and ?
