I’d like everyone to welcome Jennifer Smith to our team!! I’ve known her basically all her life since she was in middle school. She has already shown she is going to be a fantastic partner to have. If you are waiting on 1096’s & 1099’s

There is a slight delay getting them printed. Apparently the IRS is not accepting Copy A’s from the computer any long cause they don’t like the red ink that is used & require this particular form to be purchased. They have been ordered and should arrive tomorrow. My goal now is Monday to have everything delivered for y’all to pass out to your employees. I apologize for moving my timeline out a week.

New year is finally upon us. I will be working on 1096/1099’s today and hopefully delivered tomorrow. Then I will begin closing individual client books.

FYI: I’m wanting to get end of the year stuff to me by the 30th of at all possible. I plan on having 1099’s delivered no later than January 10th so Employers can get 1096’s & 1099’s mailed out before the the January 31st deadline.

Social media users have claimed anyone with more than $600 in annual transactions from cash apps will now face a new tax. It’s not true.

Glad to see there is push back on both sides for this ridiculous proposal. This proposal would include apps such as PayPal, CashApp, Venmo & cards that are attached to payroll. This isn’t aimed at the top 1% nor is it to detecting money crimes!!

House Democrats didn’t include a bank account reporting provision in their tax bill, declining for now to adopt a Biden administration proposal.

This is close to becoming a reality!! It really aims towards the self employed ans not the top 1%……The limit is currently $10K for banks to report it will drop to $600 with banks being obligated by maw to report how you spend your hard earned $$……

More good news for Texas taxpayers. Deadline to file has been moved to June 15, 2021 due to the disaster declaration during the mega Arctic -11 degrees outside cold storm!!!

TX-2021-02, February 22, 2021 — Victims of winter storms that began February 11, 2021 now have until June 15, 2021, to file various individual and business tax returns and make tax payments, the IRS announced today.
