Our team would like to shine a light on this very special young lady Ms. Sandra.

Sandra provides exceptional care to our clients, always going the extra mile to be be sure they feel supported, valued, and nourished never leaving without serving up a warm meal.

Having her on our team is a bonus. She brings not only style, but wisdom, compassion, and grace to everything she does.

A proud native of Henderson, NC, Sandra Hargrove Rice is a 55-year-old woman whose life reflects strength, faith, and resilience. An early retiree and widow of seven years, she is a loving mother of four and a proud grandmother of four who finds joy in baking, fellowshipping with family and friends, and caring for others.

Sandra answered her calling into ministry in September 2020 and now walks boldly in her purpose as Minister Sandra Rice. Her journey has not been without challenges, yet she stands as a powerful testimony that you don’t always look like what you’ve been through.

Living with Ankylosing Spondylitis, a rare bone disease, Sandra continues to declare healing, strength, and renewal over her life. One of her greatest tests came on March 18, 2020, with the sudden loss of her husband of 21 years. In the face of such heartbreak, she chose faith over despair refusing to remain in sorrow and instead rising to fulfill God’s purpose for her life.

Sandra’s message is clear: there is Life After Death. Her journey began with acceptance embracing her truth, acknowledging her pain, and allowing it to transform her into a woman of peace, joy, and purpose.

Her life now reflects self-love, self-care, and self-worth, all while continuing to pour into others and serve faithfully. Minister Sandra Rice is a true example of grace in action and strength in faith.

We honor you, Sandra, for your courage, your heart, and the way you love God and your community.

Brittini Jennings is a dedicated mental health professional with over 8 years of experience in community mental health. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences with a concentration in Child Development and Family Relations, and her Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from North Carolina Central University.

Brittini currently serves as a Team Lead Clinician, where she supports individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges. She also previously worked as an on-call Mobile Crisis Clinician, providing crisis intervention and support to individuals in urgent need of care. Brittini is committed to helping clients build coping skills, strengthen resilience, and achieve lasting recovery.

Drumroll please…..Re-introducing the lady who gives her all to the agency, staff and families that we serve. Tonya brings years of experience, love, passion, and compassion to our agency. Everyone needs a Tonya in their circle. We are exited about what lies ahead for her and the growth that we have witnessed over the past few months.

Tonya Reed is a dedicated professional with a passion for serving others and strengthening her community. With over 20 years of extensive experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, she is known for her compassion, leadership, and commitment to quality care. Tonya takes pride in training staff, and developing systems that promote safety, dignity, and personal growth.

Outside of her professional work, Tonya has a deep love for God and for the people He has placed in her life. She enjoys celebrating life’s special moments and creating meaningful connections. Tonya believes in living life with purpose and on purpose, trusting in her faith that no matter what comes her way, all is well. She is committed to making a lasting impact on everyone she meets.

Therese Daye, M.A., M.Ed., CPSS, is a Durham, North Carolina native and proud graduate of North Carolina Central University, where she earned dual master’s degrees in Clinical Mental Health and School Counseling. With a heart for helping others, Therese is dedicated to creating supportive spaces where individuals feel seen, heard, and encouraged to grow.

Her work is rooted in compassion and connection, with a focus on helping people navigate life’s challenges while building confidence and self-awareness. Outside of her professional role, Therese enjoys writing therapeutic children’s books, shopping, and spending meaningful time with family and friends.

Introducing Elizabeth Campbell-Knight, affectionately known as Beth. Beth has been a valued part of our agency for a few months, and we want to take a moment to shine a well-deserved light on her. She has truly been an amazing part of our team, consistently showing compassion, and a heart for service.

As a faith-driven, family-oriented Registered Nurse, Beth brings integrity, empathy, and excellence into every space she serves. With experience in hospice care, school nursing, and long-term care, she provides compassionate, patient-centered care across all stages of life. Her commitment to supporting patients and families during critical moments speaks volumes about who she is—not just as a nurse, but as a person.

Beyond her professional role, Beth continues to make an impact through coaching and community involvement, demonstrating leadership, teamwork, and a true passion for giving back.
