The Ecusta Trail, the newest rail trail in the Blue Ridge Mountains, connects the outdoors towns of Hendersonville and Brevard and is one of many choices for biking and hiking around Hendersonville.

Thank you to Conserving Carolina for the nod to Lennox Station.

The first segment of the Ecusta Trail is already helping businesses flourish from Hendersonville to Horse Shoe. And it can do the same along the Saluda Grade route, says business owner Clement Riddle.

Riddle, here with one of his business partners Bart Salvaggio is a co-owner of Lennox Station where there's a cafe, market, restaurant, brewery, and bike rental.

He says, “When they build it, people will come... The Ecusta Trail shows how a rail-to-trail project can transform communities. We’ve seen similar trails like the Swamp Rabbit and Virginia Creeper bring vitality to small towns. The Saluda Grade can do the same if the communities work together.”

We're excited to have Sweet Cub Soft Serve stationed at Lennox Station this Sunday 1 - 7 pm!

I can’t believe I’m writing this but here we are…my final weekly schedule for the 2025 season!

While we will still have a few public events left in October and November, they reallyyyy die down after this week. I will make posts as needed to announce those times and dates.

So come out this week and support as we finish up our first season serving you all 🍦

More thoughts + reflections on this season to come soon but for right now come out and get some soft serve this week!! I would love to see you all before I start my hibernation 😂
