Looking to earn PDH credits while exploring practical solutions for challenging infrastructure projects?

Jen-Hill is excited to share two upcoming educational webinars from our partner, Presto Geosystems, focused on real-world applications of GEOWEB® Geocells.

📍 Flexible Design Solutions for Dams & Spillways
Learn how geocell technology can help improve erosion protection, stability, and long-term performance for dam and spillway applications.

📍 Permeable Recreational Trails
Explore how permeable trail systems can improve accessibility, drainage, sustainability, and long-term maintenance performance in parks, greenways, and recreational settings.

Both sessions offer valuable technical insight for engineers, designers, municipalities, and infrastructure professionals looking for practical, constructable solutions that deliver long-term results.

As an added bonus, attendees can earn professional development credit while expanding their knowledge of innovative geosynthetic applications.

Most stormwater systems are designed to last for decades.

That doesn't mean they'll perform that way without attention.

Over time, sediment builds up. Vegetation changes. Structures settle. Components wear. Small issues that go unnoticed today can become costly repairs, compliance concerns, or performance failures tomorrow.

That's why Jen-Hill launched our new **Lifecycle Inspection & Maintenance Service**.

Our team helps property owners, municipalities, developers, and facility managers protect their stormwater investment through routine inspections, maintenance planning, and proactive system management.

The goal is simple:

âś” Maintain performance
âś” Reduce risk
âś” Extend system life
âś” Avoid costly surprises

Because stormwater systems shouldn't just be installed correctly. They should continue performing as intended year after year.

Plastic-free erosion control is no longer a niche conversation.

Across the industry, agencies, DOTs, and environmental stakeholders are taking a closer look at what erosion control materials leave behind after the job is done.

Why?

Because the same concerns continue to rise to the surface:

• Wildlife entanglement risk
• Microplastic concerns
• Long-term cleanup and maintenance burden

Federal wildlife guidance also draws a clear distinction between "degradable" plastic netting and truly biodegradable natural fiber alternatives.

The direction of the market is becoming harder to ignore.

If your projects involve DOT work, environmental sensitivity, evolving specifications, or long-term site performance, it may be time to take a closer look at plastic-free erosion control options.

05/22/2026

We want to issue a second advance notice that the geotextile market is continuing to experience upward pricing pressure due to recent disruptions in global shipping and petrochemical supply chains. Public reporting shows that tanker traffic through the Strait of Hormuz was sharply reduced after the late-February escalation, and industry sources have reported that petrochemical flows and resin markets have been affected as a result.

The chart from CNBC illustrates the shipping disruption contributing to current market pressure. It shows a steep decline in oil-tanker traffic through the Strait of Hormuz beginning after Feb. 28, aligning with broader public reporting on the interruption to regional shipping activity.

Because geotextiles are manufactured from resin-based raw materials, changes in resin and polymer pricing can quickly affect production costs. Reuters reported that the conflict and resulting shipping disruption have tightened petrochemical supply and pushed plastic pricing higher. In parallel, industry resin market reporting indicates that suppliers across multiple commodity resin categories have already issued increases, with additional upward pressure expected in the near term.

At this time, we are monitoring conditions closely and working to secure supply where possible. However, given the current market environment, we believe additional price increases, increased manufacturer lead times, and broader supply chain disruption are likely to continue flowing through the market in the weeks ahead.

Our team is actively working with both our global and North American supply network to help maintain the high level of service, availability, and responsiveness our valued customers expect from us. We want to provide as much advance visibility as possible so projects, purchasing schedules, and material planning can be managed proactively.

Thank you for your continued partnership and trust in our team. We will continue to share updates as conditions develop and remain focused on delivering the service and support our valued customers rely on.

FREE WEBINAR: GEOWEB Geocells
DATE: Tuesday, June 9th

Material shortages. Schedule pressure. Budget overruns.

Today’s infrastructure projects are under more pressure than ever — and value engineering is becoming critical to keeping projects moving without sacrificing long-term performance.

That’s why Jen-Hill is excited to share an upcoming webinar from our partner, Presto Geosystems, focused on how GEOWEB® Geocells can help reduce installation time, lower material costs, and improve constructability in the field.

The session will cover:
• Real-world geocell applications
• Strategies for reducing delays and project risk
• Case studies showing measurable cost and schedule savings
• Where value engineering can make the biggest impact

An added bonus: attendees will earn 1.0 PDH credit while gaining practical insight they can apply directly to future projects.

For engineers, contractors, and infrastructure teams dealing with tight schedules and challenging site conditions, this is time well spent.

Stormwater systems don’t take care of themselves.

Over time, performance drops. Small issues turn into expensive problems. And before you know it, you’re dealing with repairs, compliance headaches, or worse.

That’s why Jen-Hill launched their new Lifecycle Inspection & Maintenance Service—to keep systems working the way they were designed, long after installation.

âś” Routine inspections
âś” Proactive maintenance
âś” Long-term performance you can count on

Don’t wait for problems to surface.

What happens before stormwater reaches your treatment system matters more than you think.

PRETX helps capture trash and debris upfront, protecting downstream systems and reducing maintenance over time. It’s a simple way to improve performance and extend the life of solutions like biofiltration systems.

Jen-Hill works with contractors, engineers, and developers across the region to integrate PRETX into smarter stormwater designs that perform better and last longer.

Cold water. Warm hearts. Strong results.

This Valentine’s Day, Jen-Hill was proud to host a Polar Plunge in support of the Special Olympics, providing Team Norris with breakfast, a place to take the plunge, and plenty of encouragement along the way.

Together, we helped raise $11,360 for an incredible cause.

We were especially honored to have Norris Peterson, a multi-medal winning Special Olympics weightlifter, join us for the event. His presence made an already meaningful day even more memorable.

Moments like this reflect what matters most, supporting our community while building something bigger than business.

Proud of the impact. Grateful for the people. Excited for what’s ahead.

How do you create parking… without it looking like parking?

At Aspire Park in Clinton, Tennessee, the vision was to keep the landscape natural and green while still supporting large events, vehicles, and heavy use.

Jen-Hill helped make that possible using the GEOBLOCK® 5150 system, creating a reinforced turf surface that blends seamlessly into the park. It supports vehicle traffic when needed, prevents rutting, and promotes natural drainage, all while maintaining the look and feel of a healthy lawn.

It’s a smart solution for spaces that need to perform without sacrificing aesthetics.
